A warm welcome to visitors to the official website of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Rome, Italy.
Barriers of time and distance are now being conquered with the rapid growth of information technology. Globalization has brought about new opportunities from which we can all benefit. At the same time there are new and emerging challenges to cope with. As a developing country, Bangladesh presents lots of opportunities in terms of trade and investment. While we strive for economic prosperity, the rest of the world can also gain from mutually beneficial economic engagement with Bangladesh.
This website has been designed with a view to providing a wide-range of information on the Embassy’s services and activities. It also provides useful links to other relevant websites on Bangladesh. I am confident that this website will act as a useful conduit to further deepen our economic cooperation with Italy. As this Embassy is concurrently accredited to Greece, Albania & Serbia, the site would also contribute to promoting our relations with these countries.
